Ashleigh is a seasoned attorney specializing in helping individuals, families, and businesses protect their legacy. Ashleigh advocates for the elderly, the disabled, and their loved ones, assisting them and their caregivers to deal with issues related to estate planning, health care, long-term care planning, guardianship, retirement, social security, and medicare/medicaid.
Ashleigh received her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, magna cum laude. During her time at NSU, Ashleigh served as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society; was Associate Technical Editor for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law; and served as President of the Caribbean Law Students’ Association. Ashleigh is admitted to the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northen Districts of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.
After law school, Ashleigh spent her time building a dynamic career that spans several areas of law. Ashleigh’s legal journey began in bankruptcy law, where she represented large commercial banking and financial institutions. Her in-depth knowledge of bankruptcy regulations and litigation strategies enabled her to effectively protect her clients’ interests. Ashleigh then transitioned to employment law and complex commercial litigation where she advised and litigated on behalf of large companies, employers, and high net worth individuals.
In 2024 Ashleigh founded Blue Mahoe Law serving clients in the areas of elder law, estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianship, and business law. As Managing Attorney at Blue Mahoe Law, clients frequently turn to Ashleigh for guidance on how to protect their assets and provide peace of mind for their loved ones.
Ashleigh was raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and is committed to serving and celebrating the Caribbean diaspora in South Florida.
